About Solutions
9M India manufactures pharmaceutical oral solutions — homogeneous liquid preparations in which the active substance is fully dissolved — from a WHO-GMP certified facility in Birkoni, Chhattisgarh. Our oral solution portfolio covers analgesic and antipyretic solutions, anti-infective solutions, gastrointestinal solutions, respiratory bronchodilator solutions, CNS antiepileptic and sedative solutions, endocrine solutions and nutritional supplement solutions.

Oral solutions offer advantages over solid oral dosage forms for populations with swallowing difficulties — paediatric, geriatric and dysphagia patients — and for APIs requiring rapid onset of action. 9M India's solution manufacturing capability addresses formulation challenges including API solubility optimisation, chemical stability in aqueous media, taste masking and appropriate
preservative systems for multi-dose formats.
Every oral solution batch undergoes in-house QC testing covering clarity, pH, assay, specific gravity, viscosity (where applicable), preservative content and microbial limits before release. COA issued from our own analytical laboratory.
01
Oral solution manufacturing requires API solubilisation, co-solvent use, pH adjustment and compatibility testing with excipients before production scale-up. 9M India employs solubilisation strategies including co-solvents (propylene glycol, glycerol, ethanol at permitted levels), pH-modification and complexation techniques for poorly water-soluble APIs. Chemical stability is confirmed under manufacturing conditions and across shelf life at ICH-aligned storage conditions.
02
Multi-dose oral solutions require effective antimicrobial preservative systems to maintain microbiological quality during the in-use period. Preservative efficacy testing (PET) to Ph.Eur., USP or BP criteria is conducted for all multi-dose solution formulations. Commonly used preservatives include sodium benzoate, methyl and propyl parabens and potassium sorbate — selected based on pH range, target market regulatory requirements and patient population.
03
Paediatric oral solutions at 9M India are formulated with age-appropriate concentrations to allow weight-based dosing in convenient volumes, taste-masked using permitted sweeteners and flavouring agents validated for target age groups, and packaged with calibrated oral syringes or dosing cups for accurate administration. Examples include Paracetamol oral solution, Levetiracetam oral solution, Cetirizine oral solution and Vitamin D3 oral drops.
04
CNS oral solutions — including Levetiracetam, Diazepam and antiepileptic formulations — require particular attention to chemical stability, dose accuracy and excipient compatibility. 9M India's formulation capability for CNS oral solutions includes validated manufacturing processes, compatible excipient selection and appropriate packaging with child-resistant closures as standard for Schedule H preparations.
05
Oral solutions are filled in amber glass bottles (15ml to 500ml) and PET containers with tamper-evident closures. Dosing devices — oral syringes, measuring cups and droppers — included where appropriate. Multi-lingual labelling for export markets. Documentation — COA, COC, stability data, preservative efficacy test data, manufacturing licence, DCGI approvals and WHO-GMP certificate — pre-prepared for tender and export submission.

Why Choose Us
Paediatric, geriatric and dysphagia patients depend on oral solutions when solid dosage forms are not viable. 9M India manufactures age-appropriate, taste-masked, accurately dosed oral solutions specifically developed for these populations.
Multi-dose oral solutions require preservative systems that work throughout the in-use period. Every multi-dose solution formulation at 9M India undergoes preservative efficacy testing — not assumed based on concentration alone.
Levetiracetam, Diazepam and other Schedule H oral solutions require validated manufacturing, dose accuracy and appropriate safety closures. Our facility handles CNS oral solutions with the process rigour and documentation discipline these formulations require.
