Eye drop manufacturing at 9M India is conducted in classified cleanroom environments — Grade A/B zones for aseptic fill and finish operations, Grade C for preparation and filtration. Water for Injection (WFI) manufactured on-site from purified water via double-pass RO and final distillation. Bulk preparation in SS 316L vessels with 0.2 micron sterile filtration before fill. Aseptic filling conducted under continuous Class A laminar airflow with environmental monitoring for viable and non-viable particles. Container closure integrity tested on every filled batch.

Antibiotic eye drops — Moxifloxacin (4th generation fluoroquinolone), Ciprofloxacin and their combination formulations — for bacterial conjunctivitis and post-surgical prophylaxis. Antiviral eye drops — Acyclovir drops for herpes simplex keratitis. Antifungal eye drops — Natamycin 5% ophthalmic suspension, the first-line treatment for fungal keratitis and one of the most demanded specialty ophthalmic formulations in export markets. Stability of Natamycin suspension requires validated suspension manufacturing with controlled particle size to maintain uniform dose delivery.
