About Creams
9M India manufactures a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical creams from a WHO-GMP certified facility in Birkoni, Chhattisgarh. Creams — semi-solid oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions — are the most widely used topical dosage form for dermatological treatment. Our cream portfolio covers corticosteroid creams, antifungal creams, antibiotic and antibacterial creams, antiviral creams, anti-acne creams, keratolytic and depigmenting creams, topical analgesic creams, gynecological creams, wound care creams and cosmeceutical skin care formulations.

Cream manufacturing requires high-shear emulsification technology, precise temperature control during emulsification and accurate homogenisation to achieve stable emulsions with consistent droplet size, viscosity and drug release across shelf life. 9M India's semi-solid manufacturing facility employs vacuum homogenisers and jacketed emulsification vessels with validated manufacturing processes for each cream type.
Physical stability — creaming, phase separation, viscosity change — is monitored throughout shelf life testing. In-house QC testing on every cream batch covers appearance, pH, viscosity, assay, microbial limits and, for emulsion stability, centrifuge and freeze-thaw cycle testing.
Our Capabilities
01
Cream manufacturing at 9M India uses vacuum homogenisers for high-shear emulsification under vacuum — preventing air incorporation, reducing oxidative degradation and ensuring uniform droplet size distribution. Jacketed vessels with heating and cooling capability allow precise temperature control during emulsification of wax-based and heat-sensitive formulations. Manufacturing parameters — mixing speed, temperature, vacuum level, phase addition sequence and homogenisation time — are validated and documented for every cream formulation.
02
The full range of dermatological creams is manufactured at 9M India. Corticosteroid creams (Betamethasone, Hydrocortisone) for inflammatory skin conditions. Antifungal creams (Clotrimazole, Ketoconazole) for superficial fungal infections. Antibiotic creams (Fusidic acid, Mupirocin) for bacterial skin infections. Antibacterial creams (Silver sulfadiazine). Antiviral creams (Acyclovir). Anti-acne creams (Benzoyl peroxide, Clindamycin). Keratolytic creams (Salicylic acid). Depigmenting creams (Hydroquinone). Each formulation developed for appropriate base viscosity, skin feel, penetration and shelf-life stability.
03
Gynecological creams for vaginal application — Clotrimazole vaginal cream (antifungal), Metronidazole vaginal cream (antibacterial) and combination gynecological formulations. These formulations require pH-matched formulation (approximately pH 3.8–4.5 for vaginal creams), appropriate viscosity for applicator delivery, and validated compatibility with standard applicator systems. Cosmeceutical and skin care creams — Urea cream (emollient), Vitamin E cream, SPF sunscreen formulations — are manufactured with cosmetic grade bases and validated for skin compatibility.
04
Diclofenac cream (NSAID topical), Capsaicin cream (counterirritant), and combination anti-inflammatory topical creams for musculoskeletal pain. Penetration enhancement systems — chemical penetration enhancers, occlusives and emollient bases — are used in topical analgesic formulations to facilitate transcutaneous drug delivery. Drug release testing from cream formulations is conducted using Franz diffusion cell methodology.
05
Cream packaging in aluminium tubes, plastic laminate tubes (30g, 50g, 100g) and wide- mouth HDPE jars for institutional and bulk formats. Tube-filling line with validated fill weight accuracy and hermetic seal integrity. All cream formulations supported by complete documentation — DCGI approvals, WHO-GMP certificate, COA, COC, stability data, physical stability records and product dossiers — pre-prepared for tender and export submission.

Why Choose Us
Corticosteroid creams, antifungal creams, gynecological vaginal creams and cosmeceutical skin care formulations — all manufactured in the same WHO-GMP certified semi-solid facility. Single-source cream manufacturing from prescription to OTC to cosmeceutical.
Cream stability depends on emulsification quality. Our vacuum homogenisers achieve consistent droplet size and viscosity — validated through centrifuge testing, freeze-thaw cycling and real-time stability studies at ICH conditions.
SPF sunscreen creams, Urea emollients and Vitamin E skin care formulations manufactured in the same facility as prescription dermatological creams. This capability directly supports the 9M Care D2C and OTC brand strategy.
